Get to Know Sneha!
Sneha is an aspirational architectural designer and urbanist with over five years of experience in the field. She currently works at the design-driven real estate development firm Optima, Inc. as a Junior Architect, where she manages projects, creates design documents using Revit, CAD, and BIM software, and collaborates with contractors and clients to ensure successful project completion.
In addition to her work at Optima, Sneha is an active member of the architecture and design community. She serves on the Marketing Board for the Chicago Women in Architecture organization, which supports and advocates for women in the industry.
Sneha received her Master of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she was nominated for the Chicago Earl Prize twice. She also holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University in India, where she was awarded for academic excellence, urban design, and thesis work.
Sneha is a registered architect with the Council of Architecture in India and holds a certification in Urbanized from LinkedIn. She is currently pursuing licensure in the United States of America. She is also an Indian Government recognized Academic.
Her areas of expertise include architectural design and technical drafting, high-rise and mid-rise buildings, sustainable design, code review and zoning analysis, QA/QC Process, IFB/IFC (Bid documents, Permit drawings), coordinating BIM updates with engineering systems, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, develop marketing materials, proposals, and presentations. She is eager to continue learning and developing her skills in the creative field.
